Ouch!!!
On Thursday, I had an appointment for a free consult with a personal trainer. She was doing all these "Evaluations" of me doing specific exercises. I had to balance on a weight table on one foot, then extend the one leg and do an air squat as many times as I could. I did okay until I had to try and balance with my bad right knee. I about fell on my face!
So, we move on to push ups. I did about 15. Then sit ups. Pilates sit ups. I did 20.....pretty good I guess. Then she has me do these crazy lunges on a step thingie. OH MY HEAVENS. Walking lunges suck, bit these suck harder.
We then went on worked on my abs. Um, I have a jelly belly. I truly think I saw the men at the gym giggling at me. Old fluffy woman attempting this, I would have laughed at me too, if I could have ! I was attempting to pull my self up an a bar with my abs. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAAHAHa!
So last night,My hubby and I go out. We decide to go to the gym to work off dinner. I did a mile in 13 minutes ( That is a record for me...I know, sad. They will kick me out of that marathon in PArk city for sure!)
Then I did the weights again.
I am so sore today. I can't move. Ouch.
Breakfast: 6 oz Low-fat yogurt, small orange. Glass of water.
Lunch: !1 small wheat tortilla, 1 oz turkey, mustard tomato slice. half cucumber with 1/4 cup low-fat ricottta cheese, 6 baked lays. Water
Snack: Mini 10,000 grand candy bar
Dinner: 4 oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup lemon rice, onions, 2 tablespoons cucumber sauce, 1 small pita.

Oh, that would suck lol...I watch the personal trainers at the rec center and feel sorry for the people in their grasp! (although how cool would it be to have some one kick your butt into shape?!). I'm sorry you are sore, but man, you are going to love the end result!

Good Work. A personal trainer can really help you get into good shape.
I am jealous of all of you who are going to the gym! I think paying for something would force my behind out that door every day too, and I am sorry you are sore! I also agree with Melissa, it would be awesome to have someone other than myself kicking my butt into shape LOL! How would it be to have a Jillian on our team everday?! I look in with awe at the biggest loser teams every week and I think "if these seriously obese people can do it, I sure as He** can do it!" We can be just as accomplished girls!
