I had a ton of fun last night. It was great meeting Patty and Becky. It's amazing to me how many sacrafices each of you make to make time for yourselves to get healthy. With family, and jobs, it's so nice to see how commited you all are. Kudos!.
Yeah, It is was pretty crazy that Patty knows my first flame and his wife. It was nice to hear he is happy and doing well! Small word, eh? It's really cool to see the connections we all have. Cool and a little weird!
Well, My goal shirt and pants fit. ( well, fit is stretching it a bit!) I could actually button up my shirt this time. I am thinking I need to get a different goal shirt now, since it will make me look pregnant no matter how much weight I lose.
Melissa presented me with our first monthy prize....110 dollars. I will be buying clothes as I lose.
I had an idea. I liked Patty's idea of a workout for girls night. Maybe we could each plan a workout..a favorite DVD or video to do for 3o minutes. Maybe we could do it after dinner. I would love to play the Wii...I have bever played before!
Okay..that was Patty's idea, my idea was to maybe have a clothing exchange for those of us around the same size. We could bring our jeans and items that no longer fit, so that others can get some use out of them before they change sizes. Just a thought. For me....I don't hang on to my " fat " clothes, so I don't have any excuse to ever wear them again!!
